Common questions

How do I play?
One finger works the sand: drag to scoop, tap to pat, press and hold to drip a spire, or pick a bucket mold and tap to stamp it. Two fingers move the camera: drag to pan, pinch to zoom, twist to rotate. The main menu's How to Play walks through all of it on a real beach.
The tide button is greyed out.
On flag levels the sea won't come in until you have planted the flag — pick the flag tool and tap the sand where you want it to stand.
How is the score worked out?
It counts how much sand you moved. Less is better: the best builds do the least, and the three star thresholds are shown on each level.
Can I reset my progress?
Yes — Settings → Reset progress. It asks you to confirm. Your volume and quality settings are kept.
The game is slow on my phone.
Try a lower quality preset in Settings. The simulation itself runs at the same detail on every setting; the preset only changes the rendering.
Does the game need the internet?
No. It never connects to anything and collects nothing — see the privacy policy.
